Goes to show how obsessed with this film I am if I'm spending my time working out if ben stiller went bald for a small role not.

Just out of curiosity is there a specific scene in the trailer that you guys are really intrigued about that clearly isnt ben Stiller?

Ya I feel like I heard Stiller was in the middle of shooting his own limited series like what he did for Escape for Showtime. Maybe I heard wrong or maybe he was only on Pizza for a day.

My "cigar/Haim is talking to Sean Penn in the trailer" theory may have been debunked but I'm still certain Ben Stiller isn't in the movie.

Stiller was in NY prepping his shoot for "Severance", an upcoming show. I know someone very close to Stiller on this production that asked him if he's in the movie back when the rumor started and he said no. I guess there's always a chance he lied but it was a private conversation so I'm not sure why he'd lie about it.

Also I know Christopher Walken was rumored, and he's a part of "Severance" too but much less involved since he's a supporting character whereas Ben is directing... so while he might be possible I still doubt it.

I think the scene of cooper saying " I'm not gonna forget you like you're not gonna forget me" is early on and it's a line from a show or film cooper was on and he uses it as a line or something on alana that's why she says "gross"

I think this because I'm sure the scene takes place near the beginning of the film on their first date so this exchange would be bit odd for it to be a serious exchange and him pouring his heart out.

You realize that our (Xixaxers) first viewing of this film will be significantly different than your average filmgoer that saw the trailer once or twice and thought, "Oh, that looks fun. Let's go..."

We, on the other hand, have dissected the trailer so thoroughly, that we'll be frantically searching and resequencing each shot as they come up in the film.

I suspect we wouldn't have it any other way, tho. We're a self-selecting bunch in here.

Ashamed to admit but I think I meant him. Not sure but I might have seen his picture here (possibly from TWBB set) and did not realize it was a joke. But was it? He seems much younger in LP trailer than in that TWBB picture though. Still seems more likely than Stiller to me.

To my defence, I was not a PTA fanatic back then yet and have not seen the pic before.

I will be disappointed if the "gross" isn't a genuine reaction. It's so cute.
