Our guild spent our first night in Black Wing Lair last night. Downed Razorgore after 8 attempts.

Congrats. That fight is one of the hardest. I recently deleted my paladin (omg) because a guild, same server, only horde, asked me to play with them. They were fourth or fifth game-wide to down Nefarius. I just got 60 last tuesday (9 days played) on my new shaman. I went to MC that night and got 4 epics, the night after a Hand of Edward the Odd dropped, so I got that. I'm doing BWL tomorrow night with them and another MC/Onyxia monday. They have BWL down to one night.

Wednesday and Thursday we were on the test realm trying out AQ. Got to the third boss, and have been working on her.

I miss my paladin and I'm pretty bad at my shaman so far in PVP. PVE i've been consistently in the top 3 or 4 healers so that's gotten me some major props considering most of the members have full tier two epics.

I also stopped visiting xixax because I hate the new layout. Consider this my one post comeback.

so , no one has played the xbox 360?

I'm trying.  I waited in line in the cold for 3 hrs on launch day.  There were 53 units, I was #54 in line.

Quote from: pyramid machine on December 01, 2005, 09:38:03 PMi think that pc gamers are prone to be bigger dorks/nerds/virgins/losers/etc.  than console gamers...well, gaming in general is a dorky thing which i am proud to be apart of but pc gamers are ugly looking...and they take gaming way to seriously.....we all know [as evident in this thread] that role playing games are the biggest attraction for dorks...and the pc has the most advance types of rpgs....and that online shit thrives into a geek community...i think console gamers are more likely to be white trash than pc gamers though...

So you're trying to tell me that console gamers have an intense need for stereotyping and cultural categorization?

:yabbse-grin: jb, i aint like that brotha...from my 28 years of experience on life and 20 of those spent gaming...i have noticed some things...i say that pc gamers are the more dorky of the bunch, generally, than console gamers...but i mean this as sort of a backhanded compliment b/c pc games are more advanced [likely due to processing power] than console games so....it takes a person w/more intellect than a console gamer is willing to do...think of console games as a quick fix..while pc games are a full course meal....also, pc gamers have to continually upgrade their shit to play new shit and console people are usually to poor, ignorant, and cheap to do so......pc games are dominated by the rpg/rts/simulation/strategic warfare genre...that type of stuff is very dorky..but takes more skill [i.e. smarts] than console games..what usually dominates console markets are sports games[which is white trash, thuggish, and redneck], first person shooters [which is white trash, and pseudo-hipters], action games [which has some degree of dorks, but is full of white trash b/c action games are easy to play and therefore a white trash person can understand the game], and than there are the white trash/urban/thuggish genre which includes grand theft auto[major white trash game] and true crime and martial arts inspired games, and any game featuring 50 cent. ...all of those games are catered to small minded, dumb, people...like the type of people that would fuck someones dog for a cheat code....

There's no real point in getting a 360 now since the launch games are ok, but you can live without them.

I'm waiting for some seriously awesome games to come out and really utilize the capabilities of the system.  They didn't get too far with Xbox or Ps2 because of the evolution into the next stage, I know there's plenty of unexplored territory on both of those consoles, and I feel like a lot wil be skipped on the 360 as they get ready for the 360.1.

I'm going to give it another try tomorrow.  I'm really excited about Project Gotham Racing 3 and Perfect Dark Zero.  In the near future:  Ghost Recon 3 and Elder Scrolls IV excite me.

Getting back to the real point of this thread: My game progress...

I somehow managed to walk away with a Perdition's Blade last night off of Ragnaros. Also a pair of Nightslayer Boots. We operate off DKP points and I beat the other roller by 1 point. As it was, I think I'm the only person in the history of WoW to have a Perdition's Blade, still be wearing a green belt, and not have completed my Onyxia quest chain.  :yabbse-grin:
Yes, to dance beneath the diamond sky with one hand waving free, silhouetted by the sea, circled by the circus sands, with all memory and fate driven deep beneath the waves, let me forget about today until tomorrow.

For those not familiar with WoW, Perdition's Blade is the best dagger in the game, and Raikus will soon be kicked off his server.

By the way I'm in love with my new build. I lost nothing and gained everything... truly.

I tried DM East a couple nights ago with a group of 55-56s. We got past the third boss. But alas, no Felhide Cap for me.

I dropped herbalism on my rogue for engineering and should reach Gnomish specialization soon. I'm going with Goblin for my mage (who is 240, but needs to get to 35) so I can supply my rogue (and other Gnomish engineers I know) with The Big One and XL Cables and such.

So your rogue is a sound engineer?

This game is very confusing.

Just wait until you see some Nefarian drops.

I'm leaving it at that, for now.

A guy in my guild has it. He generally has been leading DPS charts in MC by nearly double of what the next closest person has. It is ridiculous.

One of the most intresting games I've ever played in a long time.  I highly recommend this game, it just gets better and better.

YES... I just rented this the other day, and I've been playing it non-stop since.  "Engrossing" would be a good word to describe this game.
