I saw Antony and the Jonstons a few months ago with the Portland Symphony and was very impressed with the music, but I felt like lyrically that every song was so focussed on gender identity that I couldn't relate to the material.  Sonically the show was off the chain.

Furthermore, one of my favorite soundtracks.  Folk Implosion is Lou Barlow's best efforts.  You can't deny "Nothing Gonna Stop", "Natural One" and the other badass tracks "Mad Fright Night" and Slint's "Good Morning, Captain."
