It's alright, it has some hot tracks but most of it is skits and filler, plus, it's a bit pretensious and self indulgent.
Falling in love is the greatest joy in life. Followed closely by sneaking into a gated community late at night and firing a gun into the air.

The Perineum Falcon

Nick Drake - Bryter Layter
We often went to the cinema, the screen would light up and we would tremble, but also, increasingly often, Madeleine and I were disappointed. The images had dated, they jittered, and Marilyn Monroe had gotten terribly old. We were sad, this wasn't the film we had dreamed of, this wasn't the total film that we all carried around inside us, this film that we would have wanted to make, or, more secretly, no doubt, that we would have wanted to live.

Weird...I was just about to post that, I'm listening to it as well.  Great album.  (On this note... Gallo's video for Going Inside wasn't too great..)

Great minds think alike!  Or great ears hear alike.

It IS a terrific album.  Have you heard Shadows Collide With People?  I think it's even better than this one.  I've never seen a John F. video, though.

I agree!   :yabbse-thumbup:

I think Shadows came out before he decided to put out an album per month for six months... I haven't heard any of those.

NP:  Angels of Light The Angels of Light Play 'Other People' (cover pic posted upthread).  This is my favorite album of the year so far, I think.
