Mitch Hedberg!  Reese's pieces and all.

very underrated 2nd album to follow up the craziness that was "ten". there's plenty of golden "coins", if you will. there's one fucked up one and it's glorified g. not only did rage against the machine release a political album in 1992. pearl jam wrote one called w.m.a. (white male american). in the cd booklet there's a pic of a black dude called green. he was brutally rodney kinged to death by the police. it says under the pic: "autopsy results showed green died of at least 14 blows to the head in a nov. 5 beating that tore off part of his scalp".

Pep Love - Ascension. All the hip hop heads here should check this out. I think it's one of the most underrated albums EVER. Just fantastic, from the beats to the lyrics to everything. Del and alot of the other Hiero crew are on it, it's really good.

I guess the edit lost this but...  what did this have to do with music?

I actually met (okay, was within sharing-bodily-fluid distance, which for him, was about ten feet) GG Allin back in the 80s.  I'm more than a little appalled to see people carrying on in his name now that he's dead..  seems fucked up for a self-proclaimed nihilist to be franchised after his death.

But back to Ginger's pic..   was Malice Green a musician?

note to Ginger: if ur gonna post random gruesome shit, try to quote whatever it's in reference to.
under the paving stones.

i got what it was in reference to. it was only one post up. not too hard.

also, people should be more descriptive of what they are listening to in this thread. everyone just posts an album cover and leaves it at that, let us know what you think, it makes this (great) thread more lively.

And since I'm here...

The Arcade Fire, Funeral

Very good, but not as good as all the hype I'd read made it out to be.

most of those pretensious bands never live up to the hype. you just go on, or kill yourself.
