Ascension.

Jeremy Blackman

The cover is actually an image from one of PTA's dreams – he's Douglas Quaid in Total Recall, on Mars outside of the airlock. We don't see it in this still, but his eyesballs are about to inflate.

Think he's got a secret Instagram somewhere?

He did, but it doesn't seem to be up anymore (or he's changed the username). It was 'paolo..."-something. It was set to private.

"Pablito". It's still there. He hasn't actually posted anything though.

Ahhh, that's why I couldn't find it anymore. I misremembered the name!

Haven't seen but I'd guess 84. Some of the meandering may be more detrimental than age gap difference.

For RT? That would make it too low for Awards, only maybe a screenplay nomination (maybe even too low for MC as well). Have you started to see and accept the bigger picture?

For Metacritic, do not put words into my mouth. Thank you!

Isn't it amazing to have this movie coming out after shooting in 2020 (which was a brutal, brutal year) isn't it amazing to have a film from PTA so quickly after PT? Especially with the way 'the business' is going, VOD releases for 'smaller movies', big movies struggling throughout the pandemic.

It's impressive what they were able to conjure up as a production during the first year of COVID Compliance protocols - and it's going to feel all the more impressive I imagine once I've seen the flick and there's a fully realized PTA film therein without a trace of interference. From studio, pandemic, or audience expectation.

The door to that Pinball Palace was open today.  I assumed there were workers in there getting it ready.  I'll bet it's open on Nov 26th with actual pinball machines, etc--for a least a month.  If I was a better reporter (and had remembered) I would have stuck my nose in there and asked someone.

Really? I'd heard that the very next day after the shoot, all the signage and set dressing had been torn down and it was back to being a boring ol' empty space for rent. If it's set up again, then they're definitely planning something.
