well, first of all it's a bit awkward seeing it in widescreen because i'm so used to the full frame version. it also feels like a brand new movie when it's viewed in widescreen. the ziegler party is first of all bright because of all the lights in the background etc. it's also colorful, grainy, a wee bit oversaturated and a bit blurry but yet a sharp picture. all scenes pretty much feels like this and i couldn't be much happier. i feel that the other movies, especially "a clockwork orange" is way much better in blu-ray.

i really want to a barry lyndon upgrade!
