i love that album. "Pigs" = eargasm. lyrics:

Bus stop rat bag, ha ha, charade you are
You fucked up old hag, ha ha, charade you are
You radiate cold shafts of broken glass
You're nearly a good laugh
Almost worth a quick grin
You like the feel of steel
You're hot stuff with a hat pin
And good fun with a hand gun
You're nearly a laugh
You're nearly a laugh
But you're really a cry.

Obviously what you are doing right now is called (in my upcoming book of psychology at least) validation. I think it's a normal thing to do. People will reply, say anything, and then you're gonna do what you were subconsciently thinking of doing all along.

Two Lane Blacktop

This is their first really GOOD album since Dear 23, back in 1996.  And it's REALLY good.  Recommended for fans of Big Star (who they've toured with) and the Beatles.  Probably you Spoon fans also, although the Posies are a bit less aggressive.  The whole disc is good, but the last two songs are my personal favorites, and "That Don't Fly" is my overall favorite song of the moment.

Big Star, Beatles, Spoon.  yes, you hit the magic spot.  i will be checking this out soon...
Christopher Nolan's directive was clear to everyone in the cast and crew: Use CGI only as a last resort.

That album and the The Cure's The Head On The Door were my musical awakening in the early 1980s...

BTW, now playing, fresh from 1970:
