Finally decided to buy this after listening to a great White Stripes interview that's a free download on iTunes right now.  It's a Fresh Air NPR interview... it's probably available on their website, too, but I'm too lazy to link it.  I found the interview inspiring in an oddball way.  It also gave me a greater appreciation for the band.  I had all of their albums except for De Stijl.

I think this album's excellent.  More listens are in order, but I have the feeling I may grow to like it better than Elephant, which I think is a great album.  I like this album's style a lot!  I'm really digging the acoustic over electric, and Meg White has gained a little bit of skill without losing the wild child in her.  Good stuff.  Glad I bought it.
