i love the upgrade on the blu-ray version of l.a. confidential. i remember the picture on the old dvd version was a bit blurry. the blu-ray offers a crisp, sharp yet a bit grainy picture. my only beef is why the 14 deleted scenes was left off. i'd like to get know more about them and why they was edited out. my guess is that warner bros are sensitive to letting the public watching archived material. it was explained in the doc by curtis hanson that warner bros was against getting the movie made. new regency took over but i guess warner bros distributed it. so fuck those greedy assholes!
