batman: the animated series vol. 1....  why are the episodes NOT in chronological order?  this is uber annoying!!!

this is just a guess, but its possible that they are in order of the way in which they were produced and not the order in which they aired.  like, the premiere was on a saturday and it was the Cat and the Claw episode with catwoman, sunday night was the On Leather Wings and Mon-Fri was another slew of episodes before Cat and the Claw pt. 2 concluded that next saturday.  so, i think they were aired way out of order (not that there was ever a storyline that lasted more than 2 or 3 episodes).
Christopher Nolan's directive was clear to everyone in the cast and crew: Use CGI only as a last resort.
