Best Buy was selling it for $28.99 and I wasn't quite sure if I wanted to stretch my money so thin on it because I also had to eat.  I also noticed that the plastic on the cases was wrinkled, so I looked at the other two copies, which suffered the same problem.

I asked if they had a better condition copy and they said no, but they'd give me 15% off.  I am rather picky about my DVD case condition, but I wasn't going to argue.

Mine arrived from Amazon that way too.

Is there an improper packaging thing going on with it, or what?  I've heard similar complaints.... Plus, this isn't the first time I've seen a Criterion with a serious defect.

obviously not a dvd but something that i've wanted for 6-7 years and because of price drop and a full time job was able to get it.  finally watching my dvds in all their glory.  mind you i have quite the big DVD collection, and they're alphabatized (laugh as you may).  i have a database that i update whenever i get a new dvd.  with this t.v. i've become very aware of the anamorphic transfers that i used to not give a shit about.  it's kinda funny because now i see the limits in my collection.  i don't want ot have to buy some titles again because they're not anamorphic.  but still love the t.v. and it doubles as my computer monitor.

i also like to keep myself fit.

i just noticed the t.v. in the background.  you know... i do alright for myself and i just bought one of these myself.  but in the work out room?  wow what kind of t.v. does he have when he really feels like watching a movie and not just when pumping some iron?  must have a little home theater in the house somewhere.
