This looks great. That dog is perfectly cast.
We often went to the cinema, the screen would light up and we would tremble, but also, increasingly often, Madeleine and I were disappointed. The images had dated, they jittered, and Marilyn Monroe had gotten terribly old. We were sad, this wasn't the film we had dreamed of, this wasn't the total film that we all carried around inside us, this film that we would have wanted to make, or, more secretly, no doubt, that we would have wanted to live.

uh-oh, looks like they made a sequel to The Hangover before they made The Hangover 2. Todd Phillips going to be piisssed! and i hope Zach doesn't get Mike Myers'd, he's starting to be the silly hat and glasses guy who says 90's sit-quotes
Doctor, Always Do the Right Thing.

Sleepless

Awful title. I envisioned a terrible comedy starring Katherine Heigl and/or Jennifer Lopez. For the record, I'm so glad it's not.
He held on. The dolphin and all the rest of its pod turned and swam out to sea, and still he held on. This is it, he thought. Then he remembered that they were air-breathers too. It was going to be all right.

This looks stupid. I guess there were some funny parts, but when I saw the trailer for it the audience laughed hysterically at the dumbest shit. Downey Jr. asks Zach if he used the bathroom before they leave and he says, "Oh, thanks for reminding me! I need to wee-wee" The audience erupted. What's funny about that?

The worst was the check yourself before you wreck yourself part. What's funny about that? There's no punchline. The joke is basically a square ass white dude said something normally reserved for street smart black men. Wut?

This reminds me of a story from my youth...

Summer 2006, I had just gotten back into town and went with a few friends to a local club. My intention was to watch the NBA Finals, but the slutty girls we were with wanted to dance. Whatever. Just get me to a place with TV's. We get there and there's a large posse in this club. Turns out Transformers had just wrapped in Albuquerque and Tyrese Gibson and his entourage were in this particular club getting crunk. The slutty girls we were with went into full-on slut mode and swamped his table. They didn't seem to mind. The dudes including myself were eventually waived over and we took a seat for the festivities. This guy Tyrese was an idiot. A real dumbass. He kept saying stupid catchphrases that were basically all stereotype and these dumb girls were eating it up. Actually, I was really the only one who thought he was an idiot so eventually he turned his wrath to me. He told me, "you better put some sugar on that beer!" I said, "What? What are you talking about? Why?" he got quiet looking for a comeback. Finally after an awkward 4 and a half seconds he said, and I swear to god, "You better drop it like it's hot!" and these girls just thought it was the funniest thing ever. EVERYONE DID. Everyone except me. I thought it was stupid. He went on and on with these stupid catchphrases for about another 15 minutes. That summer I was pretty much at the height of a drinking problem, and unknown at the time, but known now, a pretty bad coke habit, too. I had enough. I got up to leave while saying, "This is stupid. I'm leaving. This isn't even funny. He's the least funniest person in this city and you're all idiots for laughing. Whatever. I'll catch a cab." as I was getting up and making my way towards the exit, Tyrese shouted, "Hey, big guy!" and I looked over and he said, wait for it, he said, "Don't forget to drop it like it's hot!" EVERYONE LAUGHED AT ME. It set me off. I responded back, "THAT DOESN'T EVEN MAKE SENSE! IT MAKES NO SENSE! YOU'RE JUST DROPPING CATCHPHRASES! YOU'RE AN IDIOT! IT'S NOT FUNNY!" and people got mad at me. They told me, get this, "GET A SENSE OF HUMOR, STEFEN! GOD!" I was so mad. Then to top it off I made a fool of myself on my heated exit when I tried to push the door open when it said pull.

Those slutty girls will LOVE this movie. Count me out.

We live in a world where slutty girls think Tyrese Gibson is funny, George Lopez has a late-night talk show, this idiot

just won Last Comic Standing, and Due Date will make 200 million dollars.  Bill Hicks would not approve.

When I was in Chicago one time (this past weekend) I saw Tyrese on the set of Transformers 3.  There was a lamborghini in a car cover and he kept lifting the cover up to look at it with his 2 friends.  What an idiot.

Sorry about that...

On the plus side, I saved you two pointless hours that would have ended with you wanting to kill yourself.

That dog looks more like Zach Galifianakis than Zach Galifianakis looks like Zach Galifianakis in that poster.
