The Red Vine

This is a classic film no doubt, but I just finished watching it and I was a little confused as to why it was so great while watching it. Then I understood the social statement at the end. It's very much a movie for it's time I suppose. But some of it still applies to today. Of course the music is great along with the scenes of the road. It's amazing that Dennis Hopper shot this for $340,000 and came out with $60,000,000 within a few years.
"No, really. Just do it. You have some kind of weird reasons that are okay.">

Christopher Nolan's directive was clear to everyone in the cast and crew: Use CGI only as a last resort.
