NEON MERCURY

granted, i am coming from a somewhat limited knowledge of foreign films but i think that the spanish speaking films are easily the best out of the last 5 years.  [or perhaps longer, rmember i have limited knowlegde]

-talk to her+ the many films from pedro A.
-y tu mama tambien+ other Alfonso C. films
-the motorcycle diaries
-amores perros...
-maria full of grace

and i am also judging this on the directors english language films too.
because i am basing it one th efact that these directors are of spanish/latin america/mexican  backgrounds/roots...they are loaded w/ talent......therre are many examples that furthe rmy point ..i was just looking quickly at my collection......but is there any other country that even comes close to this?
