Mr. Merrill Lehrl

Director: Tom Hanks
Writers: Tom Hanks, Nia Vardalos
Stars: Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts and Bryan Cranston

This trailer makes me want to stab myself and it played in front of all three movies I saw today.  There was a silver lining.  When it played in front of Midnight In Paris all the middle-aged ladies swooned for Tom Hanks.  I now suspect that at this moment Tom Hank's sex appeal is actually greater than that of Julia Roberts.  Zero swoons for Julia, multiple for Tom.  That's interesting, I might not have guessed.  To be fair it seems like Tom's role is to play a beautiful badass who can save the heart of a dissatisfied professor, i.e. he actually is the one with the sexy role. He wrote himself a sexy blue-collar middlebrow movie to star in.
"If I had to hold up the most heavily fortified bank in America," BolaƱo says, "I'd take a gang of poets. The attempt would probably end in disaster, but it would be beautiful."
