Saw this at Sundance. Disturbing and unsettling but the repetitive nature of the film (flashback, current, repeat) became grating in the final act when you're waiting for something anything to happen. Still, the film has stayed with me more than most and that must count for something.

special forces will replace superheroes in tentpoles
cult movies will take over black people stories as oscar baits

I am hitting up the festival pretty hard, but decided to watch a movie without distribution and catch MMMM when it comes out in a few weeks, just so that I can catch some stuff that I wouldn't otherwise be able to see. My housemate saw it and loved it, though.
