Did I just get cock-blocked by Bob Saget?

I saw this last night. Some of it was cheesy and John Travolta was really weak in a few scenes. But it was a very good movie overall.

I went and had a smoke break.  Waste of my fucking time.

LONG WINDED AND PLOTLESS.

also... the sadness did not make the plotlessness forgivable.
Classic.

I thought what made the movie good was how they executed the "life of a fireman" idea. Some of it was cheesy with the humor although I did chuckle a few times. I also think the characters were too cardboard and needed to be more solid and realistic. But I thought most of the performances were good and I did care about what happens to these characters at the end.

pete

so you hated the movie.

I'm just glad some one finally made a movie about firefighters. Same with that other animated underwater fish tale that opened this weekend.

It's about time we get some mainstream originality up in here.

someone told me this movie was too Christian.

what the fuck is that supposed to mean!?

Jesus puts out the fires for them.

Weak2ndAct

This is one of those movies so plain, so pedestrian, so Hollywood in the worst possible way, that I will go out of my way to NOT see it, but will eventually be forced to for two reasons: to kill boredom on an airplane, or to shut out family members at a uncomfortable get together.
