Quote from: RegularKaratenot only is the price screwed up, but the release date too.

The main page (and Barnes and Nobles, whose price is 80.99) have it releasing 2/24/04.

When I ordered it, it estimated a ship date of March 26th.
seems like they would have caught on by now.

yep, glitch fixed.  i wonder what'll happen now to all the thousands of customers that helped to make this the #1 seller?  haha, this is going to be good.
Christopher Nolan's directive was clear to everyone in the cast and crew: Use CGI only as a last resort.

Has anyone who ordered it at the super-low price gotten an e-mail from amazon about the price change?

so, if i already ordered it for $6, they can't charge me $76 without informing me first, right?  maybe we'll all get lucky and they'll let us slide with paying $6.

From the looks of it, they canceled them because I don't have any "recent orders" and neither does another person I know

Now I have.  It just says they check the prices before they ship and so the order was canceled.

Just won an OOP copy of "Pierrot le Fou" off of ebay AND an EXTREMELY rare VHS copy of Altman's least seen masterpiece, "California Split" thank you very much! I gotta tell ya, nothing beats the feeling of winning stuff that you can only brag about winning on good ol' xixax, it just doesn't get any better than that.

I got Gosford Park for under $10 at Costco.  It struck me as pretty cheap so I looked it up online, and it's over $20 on Amazon.  Good deal, I guess.  I liked it in theaters but now I'm just totally in love with this movie!

I also ordered Traffic - Criterion Edition.  That should come pretty soon.  I just like listening to Soderbergh talk.  His commentary on The Limey was friggin' legendarily weird!

the last cheap dvds from the Wherehouse Music closing approx $90:

seriously man. I must admit I know a couple people who work there so they discoutned them even more than the sale prices. The original sale prices were $5 per single dvd, $15 for Shogun, $8 for Holy Grail $8 for futurama, and $7 for Space Ghost. I ended up getting the single dvds for $3 each and about %20 off the sale discounted sale price of the others. right place, right time. I went about 3 hours before they were closing for good and they kept doing extra % off every hour. lucky me :)

i should also add that they are used, perfect condition but used. Original used prices were $10 for singles $30 for shogun etc..

they've been doing the going out of business sale for 2 weeks, and then undercut their sale prices even more the other day. i tell ya, I don't know if I can go back to paying regular prices for dvds. i just wish they had of had some Criterions.
