The last one I was like, "Egh, well it's kinda free."

that is wrong on so many levels.

All important levels too, I bet.  Morally and psychologically and philosophically and all that right.

You both read too much into what I said.  It's not a movie I'm going to watch a lot but I wanted it and I had the chance to get it for the price of only a couple cds so I did.  Super simple.

I got these several years ago, not long after getting my regionless player, and I LOVED 'em.  Much like "Twin Peaks," the series von Trier modeled them after, they were better in the first season, but still, the whole thing is a hoot.

Are your discs Chinese?  Mine are, but the English subtitles are at least coherent, which is kinda surprising for a Chinese version of a TV show from Denmark.  :D

There's a Special Edition with more special features, but I found this one used for only $6, so I got it.

And this was $8 used.

I saw it at my college's theater several years ago and it left me stunned. After watching it last night I enjoy it even more than I remembered. It's very hard to describe. Kind of a depression era musical western in space. I highly reccomend it, if only for a rental. It's hilarious to boot.
