I'm almost confident I'm the only one anticipating:

Underworld: Evolution
December 2

Skeleton FilmWorks

I Don't Believe in Beatles

Does anyone know what happened to Planet of the Pitts?

yeah.

Underworld was one of those movies where the Trailer was enough to make me want to go, regardless of critics or anything else.  The result was a film I was just bored and disappointed with (especially the ridiculous Kraven and the fact that these two mythical creatures solve their problems with gunfights).

Revision Time:
Now that it is almost Good Movie SeasonĀ® and some release dates have been finalized.....

Quote from: life_boy1.  The New World
2.  2046
3.  Batman Begins (saw it)
4.  The Fountain (in post...but no U.S. release finalized)
5.  Jarhead
6.  Paint (in post...but no U.S. release finalized)
7.  Oliver Twist (still anticipated...but not as much as other films)
8.  Eros (fuck it)
9.  Melinda & Melinda (waiting for DVD)
10.  Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (saw it)

Unverified Releases

1.  Untitled Jeff Goldblum Documentary (still in pre-production)
2.  In Search of Ted Demme (who knows what the fuck they're doing or if this will ever be made)

Top 10 Most Anticipated (with some Possible Problems):[/b]

10.  Jarhead (Sam Mendes)
Possible Problems: Jake Gyllenhaal's usual angsty-brat persona has a tendency to bug me.

9.  Corpse Bride (Tim Burton)
Possible Problems: This could be really dumb.

8.  Idiocracy (Mike Judge)
Possible Problems: Despite being hilarious at the beginning, I have always felt that Office Space fell apart in the last half of the film. This will prove (to me, at least) whether Judge can successfully do something longer than a 25-minute sitcom.

7.  Last Days (Gus Van Sant)
Possible Problems: Michael Pitt.

6.  Saraband (Ingmar Bergman)
Possible Problems: It was shot in a digital format.

5.  A History of Violence (David Cronenberg)
Possible Problems: Genre confines/Cannes overhype.

4.  2046 (Wong Kar-Wai)
Possible Problems: A Romantic Sci-Fi with time travel as a major plot point?

3.  Broken Flowers (Jim Jarmusch)
Possible Problems: Cannes/Critical overhype.

2.  The New World (Terrence Malick)
Possible Problems: You know what they say about the movie after your first 3 masterpieces...

1.  Grizzly Man (Werner Herzog)
Possible Problems: Herzog.  Considering this is a documentary and real people were killed, I hope Herzog isn't nearly as calloused to that fact as he could be in favor of an ideological victory concerning his thoughts on the vileness and obscenity of nature.

Mixed Anticipation/Trepidation[/b]

Art School Confidential (Terry Zwigoff)
The Brothers Grimm (Terry Gilliam)
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (Andrew Adamson)
Elizabethtown (Cameron Crowe)
King Kong (Peter Jackson)

I fully realize some of you have already seen Saraband and Last Days but we don't get many independent films here in Savannah (until they get Oscar nominations and they recieve wider releases, that is).  So, I still eagerly anticipate those films, whether I get to see them in town or Charleston or in my Netflix queue many months from now.

stitchmark.

No real order:
1. Mysterious Skin
2. Last Days
3. A Hole in My Heart
4. Wassup Rockers
5. The Devil and Daniel Johnson
6. Me and You and Everyone We Know
7. What Is It?
8. Palindromes
9. Manderlay
10. Saw 2

Quote from: life_boy1.  Grizzly Man (Werner Herzog)

Oh shit, I completely forgot about this one! Yeah, this sounds cool too. Herzog is the man.

Fernando

I was just talking with Cron and suddenly the end of the year looks pretty good, so here's a list of films that will be released sooner or later.

Not all films listed means I'm looking forward to them, but I put them anyway as someone else might do, not all dates of release are wide, some are limited.

August

The 5th.

2046 - Wong Kar Wai
Broken Flowers - Jarmusch - Starring B. Murray

The 12th.

The Grizzle Man - Herzog

The 26th.

The Brothers Grimm - Gilliam

September

The 16th.

Thumbsucker - Mike Mills
Everything Is Illuminated - Liev Schreiber - Starring Elijah Wood, Eugene Hutz. I don't know much about it but the premise sounds good.
The Lord of War - Andrew Niccol - Nic Cage, Ethan Hawk, Jared Leto. This one could be fun, and also love the Cage.

The 23th.

The Corpse Bride. Enough said.

The 30th.

Oliver Twist - Polansky. This one could be great.
A History of Violence - Cronenberg
Art School Confidential - Terry Zwigoff. Haven't seen his first two flims, but GW and Bad Santa were great so...exactly.
Capote - Bennet Miller - Phil Parma, you all know why you'll watch this one.

October

The 7th.

North Country - Niki Caro - Charlize Theron
The Curse of the Were-Rabbit starring Wallace & Gromit - Box & Park

The 14th.

Elizabethtown - Crowe. He has a forum doesn't it?
Domino - T. Scott. For the action ppl.
Good Night, and Good Luck - Clooney. I'm not sure about this one but who knows.

The 21th.

Doom - Andrzej Bartkowiak. Just for the rock fans, that's right cron I'm looking at you, this Rock guy is like the Stallone of the new millenium.
Stay - Marc Foster - Naomi Watts, Ewan McGregor.
Dreamer: Inspired by a True Story - John Gatins - Kurt Russell. Hey, I love Kurt and I know I'm not the only one.

The 28th.

The Weather Man - Gore Verbisnky - Nic Cage

November

The 4th.

Jarhead - San Mendes
V for Vendetta - James McTeigue

The 11th.

Zathura - J. Favreau. Didn't like much Elf but many ppl did so...
The New World - MALICK. YES!
Get Rich or Die Tryin' - Jim Sheridan. Haven't been dissapointed by Jim so far.

The 18th.

Harry Potter - Mike Newell
Walk the Line - Mangold. As some have already said, this year's Ray.

The 25th.

Ice Harvest - Harold Ramis - John Cusack, Billy Bob.

December

The 2nd.

Aeon Flux. If it's half as good as the animated series this will be great, althoug I don't have much hope.

The 9th.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe - Andrew Adamson.
Syriana - Steven Ghagan - Clooney, Dmon, Amanda Peet.
Brokeback Mountain - Ang Lee - Jake Gyllenhal
Memoirs of a Geisha - Rob Marshall

The 16th.

King Kong - Peter Jackson. I'm really looking forward to this one.
All the King's Men - Steve Zaillian - Sean Penn, Jude Law and the wonderful Patricia Clarkson. This one could be really good, though it could easily suck big time.
Lucky You - Curtis Hanson - Eric Bana, Drew Barrymore.

The 23th.

Munich - Spielberg. I'm sure he'll be 2 of 2 this year.  :yabbse-thumbup:
Match Point - Woody Allen

The other flim that isn't listed is The Fountain, apparently it will have a fall release but who knows, let's just hope they don't move it to next year.

GodDamnImDaMan

What a shitty year for movies.

Honestly, 2005 was by far the worst year for movies.

They should just combine the Oscars and the Razzies into one event this year.
Raven haired Linda and her school mate Linnea are studying after school, when their desires take over and they kiss and strip off their clothes. They take turns fingering and licking one another's trimmed pussies on the desks, then fuck each other to intense orgasms with colorful vibrators.
