what did you think of the film as a whole?

Best movie of 2000 (usual feeling....measuring the sadness....the old Spielberg way )

and Best end of 2000....

not cuz it's the end of humanity or something...but for me, if would end w/ the boy starring at the fairy , underwater, would be the best one....

(and I always have the feeling he tried so hard to show that futuristic look in this movie but only made right on Minority Report....the effects and everything look more realistic in the second one)

i watched Breathless tonight and decided to look up Godard's films on All Movie Guide. while looking at his latest, it had an interesting tidbit on Spielberg......here

I think i understand your point....Warhol (IMO) was a fantastic artist -mainly in the conception of his creations - but as many of other fantastic ones , in the end he was consumed by what he created...he became a shadow of what he used to be (another exemple could be Salvador Dali)

Dali cheated close friends (Bunuel , someone?) and for money sold his soul...what makes his genious work lost some of its greatness....
