Quote from: Lucinda BryteI will probably rent Gigli when it comes out though cause I guess I like to torture myself.

Yeah but come on, that's like cinematical (nice ring to it) suicide. Nobody should see this movie, not even to laugh and trash.

Gamblour.

Quote from: Lucinda BryteI think Jersey Girl will be bad also. I can't stand Kevin Smith.

I used to like Kevin Smith, but I think that's just because I thought I was supposed to (this was long ago). Then I realized, he overwrites everything. Oh, and his movies aren't funny.
WWPTAD?

For Cecil's happiness here's Gigli's box office.

Man, within one week it went from playing in 2,215 theaters to 115, and in the weekdays it averaged $43 per screen!!! What's that, like ten people in the whole theater?!

What's the song that plays toward the end of the "Gigli" trailer? I know I've heard it before but I just can't figure it out.
"You're too kind."

HaHa. What a sick and cruel joke, trying to dupe someone sit through the two minutes of bad scenes just to listen to the end song for you. Are you insane? What a sadist.

I have no idea.

i realize this is so old news by this point. but i just got an old premiere that had been lost in the mail and came across ben afflecks quote about his new to-be-released movie Gigli...

"I feel it's far and away my best work," Affleck says "It's a movie I'll look back on as a special event in my life."

affleck, you are a liar sir. i love how the week it was coming out, he was doing all these talkshows and stuff telling everyone to go see it.  and then the monday after it came out he's doing interviews saying "oh yeah, it wasnt very good.  thats kinda funny".  its like "uhh, why did you tell everybody to go see it, if you were so "in" on how it sucked?"

I can't believe they're releasing it on DVD! I seriously doubt that Martin Brest will do a commentary. if he did, that would be hilarious. I can just see him saying "Oh, I love this performance" or "I love this piece of dialouge here."
