Orange Juice- You Can't Hide Your Love Forever
""Money doesn't come into it. It never has. I do what I do because it's all that I am." - Morrissey

"Lacan stressed more and more in his work the power and organizing principle of the symbolic, understood as the networks, social, cultural, and linguistic, into which a child is born. These precede the birth of a child, which is why Lacan can say that language is there from before the actual moment of birth. It is there in the social structures which are at play in the family and, of course, in the ideals, goals, and histories of the parents. This world of language can hardly be grasped by the newborn and yet it will act on the whole of the child's existence."

twice, and then i deleted all 30 whatever tracks. it was annoying, i mean, should i do sum serious research on it before i try listening to it again? reminded me of Zappa and other stuff but at least that was fun.

it could be that i was in the wrong mood, but this is already in the Matchstick Men pile aka. "Never Again". sorry, normally u ppl are right about these things. i'm as disappointed as sigur/phil.  :|

I find Doc at the Radar Station is better Beefheart, esp. for new listeners... it's still just as odd, but it's much tighter musically. I don't go in for Zappa or any of the other zany-jammers; "Say it and get out," is my musical motto.
