i'm saying he's a mad cunt cos he's living like he don't give a shit. so far his two films i've heard of (and only one i've seen) have been smart decisions. the first got him laid (and honestly who wasn't trying to do that constantly at his age) and what's cool in a fucked up way is that having a kid with a 43year old is MUCH smarter than impregnating someone his own age.

let's assume the guy wanted to be a dad. he can easily afford it. is he gonna waste time on chloe moretz or someone else closer to his age and wait for them to grow child-bearing hips or harder still, gain child-raising maturity? no way. he's thinking ahead.. he's got this creative and open minded chick (she's some artist before she made her debut film with him) who will teach him a LOT in terms of sexual experience, and he knows she can raise his kids cos she's got two already, so what's another if he suddenly feels like exploring other avenues of pleasure down the track.

seriously the kid is smart. ok he's a crazy idiot. but there's a method to his madcuntness.

'Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall' Will Begin Production in 2011?
Source: Slash Film

Since Matthew Vaughn's Kick-Ass burst onto screens a few weeks ago, speculation has swirled as to whether or not the film performed well enough at the box office to warrant a sequel. A recent press release (via Forces of Geek) for the forthcoming CLiNT magazine, a joint venture between Millar and Titan Magazines, suggests that the sequel to the film, Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall, will begin production in 2011 for a 2012 theatrical release.

CLiNT is a new monthly anthology magazine that Millar is spearheading. "I've worked on everything from Spider-Man comics to the Iron Man movie for Marvel in New York," Millar said in the release, "but what really excites me is the gap I see in the UK market at the moment. There are absolutely no comic-books aimed at 16-30 year old guys and I think CLiNT has potential to make an enormous impact, bringing a new type of magazine to a new generation." The magazine will feature interviews and write-ups encompassing all forms of entertainment, along with four serialized comic strips.

The press release announcing the magazine's launch also features this tidbit:

Millar is also launching his sequel to the hit Kick-Ass movie in the first issue of the comic. "Kick-Ass 2: Balls To The Wall" has been scheduled for production in 2011 for a 2012 cinema release

The first Kick-Ass was made completely independently and then bought by Lionsgate for distribution, so it's unclear to me what process a sequel would have to go through to get greenlit (Does Lionsgate have to give the all clear? Can Vaughn just pull together the money independently again?). As for Matthew Vaughn, he'll be tied up with X-Men: First Class for the near future, but with the way that Fox is fast tracking that film for a June 2011 release, he could conceivably be ready to direct another Kick-Ass film by next year. Either way, given the circumstances, saying that the film has been "scheduled for production in 2011 for a 2012 cinema release" sounds to me like it should be preceded with "If everything goes according to plan (and that's a big 'if")..."

I was a huge fan of Kick-Ass and would love to see these characters return to the screen again. Hopefully, Millar and the filmmakers can make it happen. For more details on what a sequel might involve, check out our past coverage.

Side note, by the way: The phrase "balls to the wall" actually has nothing to do with testicles, although I suspect that Millar's use of the term has the potential to be much more literal.

McLovin said on his Twitter that it's not as far along even as this article speculates. Yes, I follow McLovin on Twitter.

first of all, awful title. it's bad enuff it already had an ASS fixation (actually that's not bad at all) but to bring in BALLS too?

secondly, "CLiNT" magazine, hahah are you serious? is this intentionally meant to look like the word CUNT? i can only imagine that if they had kept caps lock on for the whole title you would get the joke better, CLINT, but making it small makes no difference at all!

unbelievable. did kevin smith take over this franchise or what??
