Premise: A drama about a young father whose soldier wife has just been killed while in the line of duty in Iraq. Rather than tell his two daughters the news, he decides to take them on a cross-country road trip to an amusement park.

The two girls in this give the best child-actor performances I've seen. So impressive (because of their age) that they almost out do John Cusack.
The film itself reminded of Love Liza, not just thematically but in the typical, semi-independent style. The director here made some pretty good decisions for some of the key moments in the film, though and has to be given a lot of credit for the quality of the performances.
