Just announced from Universal Studios Home Video is the final specs for their May lineup of catalog releases. Debuting on May 6th is the Harold Becker thriller Sea of Love, previously only available as a bare bones edition but now getting the deluxe treatment. This one features a new 1.85;1 anamorphic widescreen transfer, English and French 2.0 Dolby surround tracks, an audio commentary with Becker, "The Creation of Sea of Love" featurette, deleted scenes and the theatrical trailer. Retail is $19.95.
Sea of Love is an under-rated film. Haven't seen it in a long time, so I'll check this out. Now, if only MCA would put out a 10th anniversary special edition of Dazed and Confused, all will be right with the world.
