I got DVD studio Pro yesterday and I'd like to author a DVD. However, I can't seem to figure out how to convert my video to mpeg-2, the DVD format. Any ideas how to do it? Or where I can get an mpeg-2 converter?

You can get a trial version of TMPGEnc a great encoder program and the trial version is good for 30 days, will do DVD Mpeg encoding.
Also try hitting up Doom9.Net for more and all DVD/VCD encoding stuff
