So I'm to assume this is not an adaptation of the classic Italian erotic graphic novel of the same name...

...Because that would make a much better movie.

i was thinking it was more like an adaptation of nordic duo Bomfunk MCs' late 90s breakout hit "freestyler"..

Interesting choice of release for the weekend before 4th of July, it has to be said.  Honestly, we've seen this premise in countless comedy skits and commercials before.  As far as wastes of time and money go, they could do much worse than put Sandler in this.  Imagine Carlos "Mind of" Mencia starring and co-writing this movie.

This could end up being the next Groundhog Day... probably not but at least there's Walken!

this managed to be even worse than i thought it would be.

if at some point in the film you find yourself saying "man... it'd be SO cheap if they actually did that..." please be assured that they do do it.

shamelessly.

there's nothing redeeming about it. sadly, even in walken's character/performance.

The only reason I saw this movie was because I had a free early screening and my sister wanted to go.

While not as bad as it could have been, it was still not that good.  Everything you see in the trailer actually happens pretty early on, like the first 30 mins, maybe 45.  In some ways, the direction it went after that took me by surprise, yet it was still predictable because even from the trailer, you know exactly how it's going to handle everything and exactly how everything will end up.  Some of these Sandler movies would be okay if they knew the meaning of the world "subtle."

Anyway, just what you'd expect, as stated above.  Plus, I hate Christopher Walken in roles like that (or, for that matter, any role he's been in for the last couple of years, where you're supposed to laugh at how he talks.  Okay, we get it already, Chris, you speak uniquely).
