Title: The Cutting Edge: The Magic of Movie Editing

Anyone catch this on sunday night?  8 o'clolc on Encore?  It was a very interesting look into film editing and they had all the heavy hitters.  Hearing Michael Kahn talk like a cross betwen Lawrence Tierney and Harvey Fierstein was hilarious.  Walter Murch was doing little demonstrations on how he edits ( on Final Cut no less) and Anne Coates talking about cutting the seduction scene in Out of Sight, etc, etc...it's a great show.  Look for reruns and check it out.

If you have Encore, or any of the extensions of Encore, i.e. Love, Mystery, Action,it has been playing from time to time.  Just keep your eye out for it.
