Title: shooting my film
Post by: Dtm115300 on December 09, 2004, 09:24:02 PM
I've been shooting my short film for about a week now. I actually only shoot for 2days, and im waiting for my actor to come back from college so we can finish up.

Im looking for some sound effects. Anyone know a good site where i can get a good horror sound for like a pop-out or something.

I also need a sound effect like the jaws music before the shark comes up from the water. Close to it, but not the music from the movie.

If you're making a film why don't you do the Foley yourself.  Shouldn't be too hard considering what you've described.  Gotta learn sometime, and the crappy sounds you find online are never what you need, especially for free.

Here's the best way to get quality sound effects:

Find sound effect libraries on CD from your local library... they have tons of them. Use Interlibrary Loan if nothing else.
