Im a newbie. Looking in to film schools. What do you guys think about film schools? a waste of time and money?

Im thinking it could help get me started. At lest help me learn more about how everything works.

Im looking in to one of the Suny schools in new york.

Purchase.. Some of my friends go there what you think?
