Title: Color editing
Post by: BonBon85 on March 03, 2003, 09:15:23 PM
I was wondering if there's an easy way to edit the color of individual objects with Premiere or After Effects. A good example of the kind of thing I'm looking for would be Pleasantville and how certain objects are in color and others are black and white. I just want to alter the colors of certain elements and not the whole picture.

Goto effects, video, colour pass. Select the colour you wish to isolate and how closely the pass should match to this colour and thats it. It can be hard to isolate one colour, the best way for this to work is to plan for it when filming.
Hope that helps.
