Title: film making book
Post by: buck swope on January 09, 2003, 06:37:54 PM
on the old board a while back someone referred to some "guide to film making" book in the filmakers corner (Kevin Smith has mentioned the book before)

i meant to go back and write down the name of it, but i can't really do that now.  if anyone knows the name of this book, please let me know.

thanks

I think it was this one:
(https://xixax.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fa1055.g.akamai.net%2Ff%2F1055%2F1401%2F5h%2Fimages.barnesandnoble.com%2Fimages%2F950000%2F952304.gif&hash=e088e4a6564514c25b7aed5c40a1ce95df0f2375)
"Feature Filmmaking at Used-Car Prices: How to Write, Produce, Direct, Shoot, Edit, and Promote a Feature-Lenth Movie for Less than $15,000" - Rick Schmidt

It even has Smith's quote: "Without Rick's book, Clerks would have been an idea that never made it past the page."
Title: that's the one
