Title: DGA Awards
Post by: soixante on March 02, 2003, 09:01:05 AM
Looks like Scorsese got screwed again.  Usually, the DGA winner will cop the Best Director Oscar.  Of course, I haven't seen Chicago, and Gangs of New York is not Scorsese at his best, but even so, Scorsese deserves to win at least once (especially if people like Ron Howard and Kevin Costner have won).  Scorsese's in good company, though -- Kubrick, Altman, Polanski, Godard, Hitchcock, Welles, Truffaut, Ashby, Peckinpah have never won the DGA award either.

Good! Let Scorsese and the best of the best be above these award shows.
