Post by: tpfkabi on February 28, 2003, 11:36:49 PM
Question 1:does anyone have Contempt?i was able to see a print a few months back and i'm wanting to see it again since Criterion released it.

Question 2: where is the best place (cheapest) to buy new Criterion?

Title: I bought Contempt in early January

Wow, that's all I say.  I hadn't seen the film before the criterion release (thank god since this is the first time it has been released in proper cinemascope form).   It is my new favourite DVD.  You can't believe what you are watching (aside from the movie).  There is this hour long conversation between Jean-Luc Godard and Fritz Lang which will have you giggling with delight.    They talk away about how they are different kinds directors but they are ultimately the same.  Buy it right away if you are at all interested in this kind of stuff.  Criterion has outdone itself on this one.
