i remeber seeing this trailer when i was younger...acxtually i think icalled them 'previews' at that age but anyway, it freaked my ass out..so ,  i  watched it and fell in love with it and i watch it from tiem to time..but it wasn't until the last tiem that i watched it that i truly got it and understood it s points..i also think it is one of the few psychological films that really phucks with your head..... there are scenes that are still phucked up enough to  get under your skin..most notebly (as w/ my case) it s the scene inn the apartment when robbin s girlfriend  is being phucked by some demon thing with all the strobe lights and sh*t going on.....and the part when robbin s is being wheeled on the gurney through that phucked up hospital....damn that is wicked.......anyway what did you guys think of it?........is it any good or do you think this thread will get 8 replies(if that) then die like the rest..?

quality, ultra-memorable (and setting up the potential for limitless) mind-fuckery in the cap'd scene. though i sort of felt that that moment was the peak, it's an amazing amazing peak because after it, you can't trust anything you see.

Love that film. Adrian Lyne's best, with a wicked, yet mysterious, script by Bruce Joel Rubin. Freaked the hell outta me when it first came out, especially that demon dancing scene.

Brilliant film! I think this is Lyne's best and most haunting work ever!

brilliant movie. saw it by an accident on a tv channel awhile ago and it freaked me out. it's like you had a recap of your own nightmares or something. i read that thom yorke lists this as one of his favorite movies. and i can understand that if you read his lyrics from ok computer to now. here's some caps but they will be linked because they contain images that may offend the viewer.

yeah i watched this a few years ago for the first time (although when i was younger i vividly remember the posters for it hanging up in the video store).  i didnt know what to expect at all but really liked it.  it takes some pretty unexpected turns througout.  freaky moments, good tim robbins performance.  :yabbse-thumbup:

This movie was way ahead of its time. A good decade or so. When it came out in 1990, I was a sophomore in high school. And I remember having to explain it to adults. EVERYBODY was totally baffled by it. It's more influential than most people are willing to acknowledge.

Agreed with the earlier post.  Why can't he make cool movies like this anymore?  In fact, next to Bob Roberts, this is maybe my favorite Tim Robbins role as well.

Since we all like this film, shouldn't we at least make sure the thread title is spelled correctly?
