the scene where the doctor is suggesting prescribing morphine to earl, "where all recgonizable signs ect..." lynda seems somewhat lost for words, then it cuts to the fast push in to him signing the piece of paper. OK --im assuming this is just showing how ironic the scene is with lynda hesitating and all, but in the back of her mind just wanting them really badly. am i correct here? thanks
I think it also succeeds at maintaining the hectic pace of the film at that point and to convey Lynda's extreme emotional state. I love that shot. :)
.you are correct in your intensive analyzing .........also i like this scene b/c i think the doctor was/is left-handed..and i'm left handed also(so we can relate)....usually left handed people are more creative but rather dumb.......and right -handed people are smart but not creative..........if i am actually wrong and the doctor is right handed then please exscuse my rant ....and lets be friends.or better yet.........lets be pals......
pta would be proud
I'm left handed, so I must say I just found out I'm a dumb fuck. Oh well...
