Title: the weather underground

I just came back from this.  This is a good companion film to go with The Fog of War.  See how one war begins and ends, and from both sides.  didn't think it was academy nomination worthy though.

I thought this was really good -- I saw it about a year ago at a festival without knowing anything about it or the Weather Underground itself, and found it qutie revelatory. It's director is also the only Academy Award nominee I've ever communicated with via e-mail. Yay me.

I just need to see Balseros and I'll have seen all the documentary nominees this year. I think that's a first for me, at least pre-awards show.
