Over at avid.com, they are letting you download a limited version of their dv editing suite for free. I'm very new to avid and can't figure out how to get clips from the cam to the computer...how do you do this with avid? Do you have to use some seperate video capture card? I'm used to the ease of imovie that has it all internal.
The only reason Avid is doing this is because they're starting to feel the crunch from their competitors. Now they know that they need to show the users what the hype is all about... show them why they should spend $49,000 more on an inferior system.
