I won't be a huge help, but I've noticed on my computer that if programs are running or I have low system resources the upload will be choppy, there could be a loss of frames, sometimes sound gets fucked up.

My best suggestion is closing everythign and then trying to upload the stuff.

Is this something that was working fine one moment and then started dropping frames, or have you had these problems from the beginning?

Last time this happened to me, it started abruptly and turned out to be a hard drive going bad. I replaced the HD and everything was fine afterwards.

You might need to adjust the amount of memory you're allocating to that particular program. Use more than you need. If it says the minimum required is 30,000 change it to like 150,000...

Yes, it started out as nothing, and as time went on it got worse and worse. Now it literally drops hundreds of frames. Although i dont notice it when i look at the play back  that much. For instance for every 200 frames i lose about a 100.

Don't know how for PC. But in Mac you simply click on the application's icon in the HD, then hit the Apple and "i" at the same time (information). You can change the memory in the pop-up window.

damn....

EDIT: So i sort of fixed the problem, turns out Virtual Dub had fuct up my registry files very badly. I uninstalled it, resorted the comp back to Christmas time, and it was all good. Now it's still droppin frames, however for 6 minutes of footage it's only dropped about 15 frames, which i can completely live with. I love you all. Let this be a lesson to all you fuckos out there!
