Just looking at upcoming release dates for the first part of 2004. And these four popped out at me for Feb. 3:
Lost in Translation
American Splendor
Ed Wood
Diary of a Country Priest
WOW!
Can anyone off the top of their head remember a release date with as much splendiferous depth and DVD goodness as that?
EDIT: Two more -- Kill Bill, Vol. 1 and the first two seasons of Newsradio!! Holy Stromboli!* Time to get a second job!
*-Do people still say "Holy Stromboli"?
Yes, a very expensive day.
I will substitute Salvatore Guiliano for LIT however.
I think... if you wanna use Holy Stromboli... sounds nice to me.
Why is this date so big for dvd releases? Something extra marketable? Valentine's Day?
Quote from: Gamblor du JourValentine's Day?
And the Gilligan's Island Season 1 boxset comes out that day too... or the Tuesday after... I'm not sure which...

You're right. Gilligan's Island is that day, too.
and its the third day in Feb......
and its the second month of the year...
And it's the third day in--crap, wait...
According to DavisDVD.com, Columbia Tristar has indefinitely delayed their Newsradio: The Complete First & Second Seasons three-disc set.
Oh man, don't forget the two biggest releases of Feb 3rd:
Good Times Season 2
and
What's Happening Season 1
It'll be a JJ and Re-Run battle for supremacy of the world!!!
I don't think I'll buy Kill Bill Vol. 1, I'll wait until its packaged with Vol. 2.
