So, i exported a mpeg, and every seemed fine. When i watched the beginning of my finished product every thing was in synch. however as time went on the effects started to show. There was a good 1 second delay on the voices and the mouth movement. What the hell could the problem be? Is it possible that the audio FPS is different that the Video FPS? If so, how can i change it? Any help would be appreciated.
The only time something like that has ever happened to me was because the computer we compiled on was just too darn slow. This may not be what you're looking for though.

yeah sure about that?...sometimes it's easy to offset it by a frame, and if you aren't zoomed in on the timeline all looks good. Otherwise, I am outta ideas, never had it happen...your computer should be fine speed wise...
maybe all the porn is slowing it down a bit.
does this show on your original un-edited copy as well? on the computer, did you get lost frames in the capture or edit? lost frames here and there can add up quickly when it comes to syncing your audio with your video. if you originally shot on film and used a seperate audio recorder, was the audio analog or digital? i've had problems with analog tape in the past... unless you have an extremely precise playback unit, the tape can get out of sync over time...
besides this general advice, its impossible to tell what you problem is if you don't list what you used to shoot with, what you recorded audio with, what framerate you used, etc etc... retrace your steps and see what you did wrong... let us know.
ok so heres the deal...

Here's the thing.
I checked the original copy and it turns out that yes, some of the dialouge was off synch. It must have happened during hte capture. Here's my question. How can i fix a problem like this? So when im capturing some video and audio they are both synched, and my capture doesnt lose any frames?

in the capture prefrences. there is are options
report dropped frames
or
abort on dropped frames
you don't want to lose any frames, if this happens, simply start over, close out all the porn runnin, and stop creamin on the keyboard.
You computer should be fine, but if not, some more RAM can go a long way.
