Title: Bloody Sunday
Post by: Sigur Rós on November 05, 2003, 02:10:38 PM
I just saw this tonight. Definately one of the best films this year. I actually felt like I was one of the Irish protestors. Everybody with some interest in history should check it out.

Anyone seen it?

It was actually released last year, but yes, it was amazing. I never new much about the event beyond the U2 song...this movie was a pretty effective primer.

I'm interersted to see how the director, Paul Greengrass, approaches The Bourne Supremacy, which is his next project.

Oh sorry, it just premiered here in Denmark.

But yeah it's going to be interest seeing some of his future projects. I don't think it's gonna be anything like Bloody Sunday though.

this was pretty powerful.  they used a lot of them dogme techniques for the film, and they worked.

Yeah, the camera work was kind of 'dogmish' and some of the dialogue.
