but in a good way. like you're watching a movie and it's just so bad that you have to laugh. one wonders if maybe they intentionally made it so bad to get that reaction. i'm watching the musical "hair" right now, and it's bad. i mean so bad. i mean some of the worst schlock i've ever seen. but it's brilliant because of that. and i love movies that do that. what movies are just so bad that they're goddamn hilarious.

Hair was meant to be that way... how about Rocky Horror? That's in the same vein as Hair, and it was meant to be that way too...

Problem Child 1 & 2. There are some funny lines, but the acting is atrocious. The latter actually made it into imdb's list of the bottom 100 movies ever made. I've seen them both countless times.

I've only seen the first Troll...holy shit, this was the most unbelievably fucked-upedly funny movie I'd ever seen. The writing is terrible, and Sonny Bono is in it, along with Julie Louis Dreyfuss. It's only 90 minutes but I fell asleep.
Has anyone heard of U.S. Seals? I've seen one of them, and it was really awful. The ludicrus plot and stupid bad guys were just the beginning. I dont even think it was so bad it was good. It was just bad.

Classic awful Verhoeven: his 80's Dutch-motorbike-coming-of-age film, 'Spetters.' There are multiple scenes that will leave you shocked, horrified, and falling out of your chair laughing. It's insane and wonderful and total shit at the same time.

..it(JP) seemed to have agod premise but it feel flat in the end..
but i still like it ..i generally like alot of films..and take them for what there worth.
yeah but falling a little flat hardly makes it worthy of sitting next to garbage pail kids: the movie, or showgirls.
c'mon banky! give it another shot. its a freakin cool monster movie! you like horror, appreciate it for being better than most.

thats cool that you know that. Yeah i definantly am one of the bigger horror fans on this site (i think). I dont know i thought the first half was pretty good and original but the ending really turned me off. I dont know i though there was a whole act left of the film and it just ended. I give it props for having balls to end the movie like that but i just wasnt feeling it.
Heres a Mr. BK analogy:
Its like eating a good juicy whopper that you really like and then when you get to the last bite you find a narly pube stuck in the maionaise.

well it was better than Goes To Hell and Takes Manhattan, but it was no Jeepers Creepers.
A fight between Radiohead and The Smiths; The Bride and Neo would be better than "Jeepers Creepers".

I misread the title...I thought it meant movies that were so bad they are good.
Id watch Jason x over Jeepers Creepers anyday

I liked Meet Joe Black. :(
I agree with Notting Hill, though. Couldn't get into it, but I guess it wasn't horrible.
I thinh it's called "Eraser", with Schwartzenegger fallin out of the plane...and everything that followed. I really thought it's a parody. :?:

i disagree! i think SPETTERS is a wonderful, fantastic film. very misunderstood. i think paul verhoeven's early work is very unique and wonderful.
P, is this a record? A rebuttal after almost three years? I am flabbergasted.
And Rudie: I think we both agree that the movie is wonderful.

haha, yeah i believe so. sometimes it takes that long for ppl to find the right words. i'm more amazed rudie didn't use his trademark triple exclamation points. he must not like the movie that much..
Maybe he replied in time, but just has a REALLY slow internet connection.
