Someone name a good movie that no one dies in. I bet you can't. :(
As Good As It Gets.
E.T.
Back To The Future
Rocky
Big
When Harry Met Sally...
Ok, nevermind. :x
Lots of comedies don't have death, it's hard to find dramas (I might be forgetful on some of these):
Swingers
Waiting for Guffman
Eyes Wide Shut (I'm pretty sure there's no onscreen death)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Punch Drunk Love
Young Frankenstein
Paris, Texas
Good Will Hunting
The Game (If you don't count Michael Douglas' dad)
Remember Dolly Bell?
Bottle Rocket
Festen
The idiots (no one dies during the film)
Stalker
I may be wrong
The Big Kahuna
Manhattan, Annie Hall and most Woody Allen films...
Searching For Bobby Fischer.
pulp fiction

it was hardly even a movie! it was a fucking play that they taped. there was nothing cinematic about that one-act whatsoever. it all took place in one room. i'll bet it would have made a fine play to see, but can you explain why that was even a watchable movie?

That movie has some great quotes:
"Sell crazy someplace else. We're all stocked up here."
"People who talk in metaphors oughta shampoo my crouch."
But to keep with the topic, I don't think anyone dies in Raging Bull.

Phone Booth.. pretty well just at a phone booth. Good movie though, yes? Case in point: it can still be good even if it looks staged like a play.
And I was scanning the thread and sure enough, the LAST post takes the one I was gonna say: Raging Bull. Good call, Gamblor. I don't recall anyone dying either. Other ones I can think of: Singin' in the Rain, Five Easy Pieces, The Producers..
I was gonna say Raging Bull too, but remembered that in the first boxing match, the guy who LaMotta loses to dies in the ring.

For real? I totally forgot about that. Gaw, why's everyone gotta rip off Pulp Fiction?
Ok fine, this thread is over. Fuck you all. :(
Thank you Mr. Orange.
Phonebooth and Big Kahuna are both donkey turds.

Phone booth was a very entertaining flick in my humble opinion
What?...appetite's aren't as big as your noses?
What!? :x
What I thought made The Big Kahuna so good were the performances and screenplay. It really works as a character study or I guess I should say characters study. It's got a lot of intellegence and humor. But I can understand why people didn't like it. It's hard to make a whole movie with nothing but dialouge in one room and make it work. But I thought it did.
GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS
SCENT OF A WOMAN
NASHVILLE
THE 400 BLOWS
Bowfinger
About a Boy
A Muppet Family Christmas :)
If you think about it, more characters die in Disney films than in a lot of other live-action movies. Then again, it is usually the bad guy who dies.
(Disney spoilers)
Beauty and The Beast - Gaston dies
Lion King - Mufasah
Snow White - the witch/queen
Little Mermaid - ursalla dies
Just some examples
