ive heard 1 somehwere
Hey prophet, is that ramon on your avatar?
Easy Rider aint it? [Makes George's sound after he's had a shot] *Gnit*Gnit*Gnit*
^
im 99% sure
i think so too
That's not Easy Rider. Don't recognize it. That rant sounds like it's coming from a right-winger. He was a liberal ACLU lawyer in that. The only scene where he really expressed his views was when he said that Americans talk about freedom, but if you ever try to show 'em that you're free they'll attack you for it.
A Few Good Men
99.9% sure
Ah, Christ! From the start I figured it was Nicholson in a Few Good Men! And I haven't even seen the movie!! Well, just a bit but not enough to draw a logical conclusion that it was that movie. So I didn't say anything. Well now I know for next time, don't I?
i was just jokin, i have no idea where its from. ive never seen a few good men, should i?
you should watch it for Jack Nicholson's performance... the movie itself is overrated, but worth a rental.
^
...you checked the entire script??
Thats cause I'm nearly 100% its Easy Rider, when Captain America and whatshisname wind up in prison for the first time and they meet George (Jack).
ay yiyi.. will somebody please just rent/buy the movie?
Just watched all the scenes with Nicholson in "Easy Rider". That quote is not from the movie unless it's said by someone else in another part of the film.

I have the script, and guess what....It's not in the movie.
Well.
I'm all out of ideas. Perhaps 'sounds like Nicholson' is a red herring.
It's A few Good Men for sure. He says it right near the end.

That Aint Jack.
That is definitely not Jack.
are you sure its from a movie? whats the song called, maybe they mention it in the credits
Okay, I've finally reached a conclusion:
WHO CARES?

Quote from: yarsrevengeThe sample lies in DJ Nosferatu - Human Experiments.
But that doesn't help much. Film sampling on techno records is NEVER credited. They can't afford to pay for the rights, so they do it anyway and hope that no one at Warner Bros ever hears the record! :)[/b]
I think certain kinds of sampling are legal... i.e. if they're short enough. I think. Can anyone confirm this?

I thought I heard somewhere that if you the sample is under x amount of time, it would be legal (I seem to remember x = 7 seconds). Not sure though because this was a long time ago that I heard this.
no i think its all illegal, there is no amount of time for it to be legal. its just usually overlooked

LMAO!
Quote from: yarsrevengeYou absolutely cannot sample copyrighted audio and publish (sell) it -- not even a nanosecond.
You may be thinking of the rule which states you may use 30-seconds of audio on TV, radio, or internet, without permission.
This is the reason why every audio clip on amazon.com is 29-seconds.
Yeah, that's probably what I was thinking of. But if TV/radio/internet have advertisements, aren't they technically selling these samples?
Hey Derek, that av's from Leaving Vegas, right?
Cool.
Yep, Nick doing his "are you desirable?" monologue.... 8)
