yeah but there's still nothing wrong with making a thread for the movie specifically.
Then don't say "to continue the disturbing thread". Use the film's title.

indeed, bad thread title, i'll give u that.
fixable.
why does it matter? (ie being a little nitpickey, arent we?)
i really hope this isnt another MOBIUS (fascist moderators, etc)
Quote from: R_Y_A_Ndemanding little fuck, arent ya?
what the fuck bro, he's right, that thread title was wack and implied u shoulda had it in the old thread. if u wanna talk about IN A GLASS CAGE then go for it. but by making it so vague even the ppl who've seen it won't bother checking this out.
welcome to xixax.
OH GOD HAHAHA
welcome indeed
christ..who cares what the thread title is?!?!
thanks for the welcome.

no offence but the title exists so you can see what the fuck the thread is about, now you know.
i just thought it was funny that you managed to piss of p in your third post.
WELL SHIT.
this argument is silly..and i do like the new title better..sorry to all for coming off too harsh
>i just thought it was funny that you managed to piss of p in your third post.
lol. thats a new record for me.
SO.
anyone actually seen IN A GLASS CAGE?
thoughts?
yes. yes i will. in every post.
especially to YOU.
HHHHHHAAAAAAAAAHAHHAHAAAAAAAHAHAHAHHAHHAAAHAHAHA.
ha.
I actually have seen this film. I recall that it had some nice touches, some real atmosphere, and was, indeed, quite disturbing. It has a child pushing a giant needle through another child's chest!!
Oddly enough, it was shown to me by a friend who can't stand to watch The Untouchables or most Scorsese films because they're "too violent."
Welcome back my good man! Not much has changed since you left.

Despite that, I still plan to check in a little more often than I have been.
Thanks for the welcome back, though! :)

For one thing, godardian won't have to deal with Pantalones (or at that time, SantaClausWasABlackMan) anymore.

Quote from: godardian... is there a story behind that?
nope....
AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH.... well, shit, what can I say???
*sigh*
hey godardian, welcome back
I just want to thank godardian for replacing that ugly Odd Job avatar for this much better Ricky Ricardo one.

Hey, if you tore through your short(ened) life by regularly cranking out four brilliant films a year, ruining your actors' lives, getting dangerously high and being a sexual omnivore, you'd look pretty bad, too! Any of us would! Cut the guy a break!

You're right.
Hey, godardian, lighten up. It's called a joke!

Um... that
was me being light. Under normal circumstances, I would never have been so flip about one so deserving of reverence.
Misunderstood by so many, I am...

Boy, you sure are godardian!
And kafkaesque!

Well, there
was that one time I realized I had turned into some sort of insect, but I figured it was merely "symbolic." :)

Yeah, sorry, that was my attempt at a welcome that backfired. Guess the joke went over my head.
Everyone else gets obvious jokes and smilies in return. I get a reaming biography rant.

Oh, MacGuffin, you KNOW you're everyone's favorite! You're like the big brother of this entire board (not the Orwellian kind, but the guidance-giving, slightly intimidating, extremely knowledgeable kind).
I really apologize if I came off rude or snippy; I really didn't mean to. :) And I
know I can be a humourless wet blanket at times, for real, so nobody can be blamed for assuming I'm being that way, even if I intend it as a joke. I unequivocally consider you a benificent presence here.
I am like the dour little brother with a penchant for drama, stomping upstairs and slamming the bedroom door. We all have our role to play in the Xixax family!! Seriously, please- good feelings. I'll try to do what I can to foster them.
Orwellian! That's a good one.

Welcome BTW.

Thanks- thanks for all your welcomes- and my old avatar was a particularly excruciating photograph of the blazing genius Fassbinder.
Fassbinderian doesn't have a nice ring to it. :(
Fassbinderesque. YEAH! :(
