I noticed we don't really have a thread on the best deals for filmmaking related tech items (or if we do, I missed it)... so here it is. Whenever you see or partake of a good deal from a store, post it here in case others are looking for the same thing.
For instance, CompUSA has the following deals going from 8/17-8/23: Pinnacle Studio DV and AV Version 8 for $49 after rebates, Adaptec FireWire PCI card for $19.99 after rebates, and DVD X Copy Express for $49.99 after rebates.
