Post by: ReddFoxx on July 07, 2003, 02:16:39 AM
It seems that i have trouble coming up with a good idea for a movie, why is it that some writers can whip out two good movies a year, and i have trouble finishing a though i had for 3 years??

Well, I'm sure there are plenty of writers who pump out tons of stuff and it all sucks. There was a period of about two years where I wasn't able to finish a single idea. Then last spring, I finally hit some sort of crazy stride, and since then I've written six features, with new ideas poppign up constantly, and I think for the most part it's all been at least somewhat good. The point is, anyway, just keep working on it and inspiration will eventually hit.

What I do is think of life experiences. I think of amazing things that have happened to me, or that I've seen, and I can usually build on that.
